It's not gold... GUEST: No.
APPRAISER: ...but I find it very interesting.
GUEST: I know.
APPRAISER: Where'd you get it?
GUEST: Kresge's-- dime store.
APPRAISER: (chuckling) GUEST: I think this one came from Woolworth's.
APPRAISER: And back in the day, when you were a kid.
GUEST: 1964.
APPRAISER: Aha, and that's when these were made.
The Beatles had a ton of promotional stuff being licensed out.
Did you ever wear this?
GUEST: Oh, yeah.
(chuckles) Yeah.
APPRAISER: On a chain?
GUEST: Oh, yeah.
APPRAISER: So it's amazing that it survived.
GUEST: I know.
APPRAISER: And then it's a little book, but when you open it... Ooh, there they are.
GUEST: Yeah.
APPRAISER: A lot of these are around, but a lot of 'em don't survive in this condition.
So, believe it or not, these bring about $100 today.
GUEST: Oh, wow.
I probably paid five.
APPRAISER: Five.
GUEST: If that much.
APPRAISER: Yeah.
Now, you have another one there.
This one, while it has the same theme outside, with the fonts and everything, probably not as much money.
Probably'd be around $75.
GUEST: It's more than I thought.
(laughs) I appreciate it, thank you.
