(upbeat music) It's important to not think of the Latino vote as a single group of people.
This group is made up of over 30 million eligible voters spread throughout the country.
These voters represent a wide variety of backgrounds, beliefs and social classes.
The issues that affect one part of the country do not always line up with the issues that affect a different part of the country.
Additionally, the use of the Electoral College system in the United States means that even if the Latino vote was a monolithic voting block that all voted the same way, the votes would be divided among the 50 states in which they were cast.
To think that a group this diverse would only vote one way or another will naturally lead to some flawed predictions.
